One morning I woke up and found out I had to leave the country pretty much the next day due to visa requirements. At first I was a little shocked but then when I thought of what I could do in Singapore I was excited to leave. Unfortunately as this trip was totally unplanned Lucky didn't join. Every time I fly to a new City I tend to do a little research into any new places which have opened. I was so lucky this time because some truly amazing new cafes and restaurants had opened.
My trip was short but definitely sweet. I caught up with some very talented Instagrammers while I was there and they were kind enough to show me around. I can highly recommend checking out Luxe Singapore and Curious Palatte if you happen to be on the Island. I'm constantly amazed at the speed in which new places are springing up. I'm really looking forward to my trip back with Lucky tomorrow so stay tuned for some more updates...
Living in one of the most populated Cities in the world certainly has its drawbacks. For one its hard to see any real nature. It was quite the opposite in Bandung and one of our favorite places to visit on the trip was Padma Hotel which offered breathtaking views across the valley. We caught up with friends and spent the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
Although our time in Bandung was fun, it was equally as exciting to return to the City! It truly is hard to plan your wardrobe for a matter of weeks and it was great to check out the new collections in stores. We are already planning the next trip so do follow our daily journeys on Instagram :-)
I consider myself a frequent flyer these days which is something for which I am truly thankful. I guess I am happiest when the plane lifts up from one country and touches down in the next. Traveling is something which inspires me and with every journey I learn something new.
